You can see it from all over the city and from as far away as Niagara Falls on a clear enough day. The CN Tower has made quite the mark on the Toronto skyline and wp_postmetas certainly one of the most iconic buildings in the city as well as a symbol for Toronto itself. wp_postmetave undoubtedly noticed the colours of it at night, but how much do you really know about the CN Tower lighting?

Since 2007, the CN Tower light show has been adding an extra spark to Toronto at night. Every night at sunset the lights begin with a standard program of red and white and it repeats at the top of every hour. The tower is lit in particular colours for special holidays and when one of our local sports teams make the playoffs (wp_postmetare talking about YOU, Blue Jays!) then the tower is illuminated in the team colours. We love how the tower shows off both national and civic pride!

The LED illumination system on the CN Tower was can create 16.7 million colours so there are endless possibilities of what the light show could look like each night. Organizations can submit requests for the light show if they have a certain event or day planned but must give at least 30 days notice to be considered. wp_postmetas how some charities get the CN Tower to be lit in their colours for awareness!

The schedule changes all of the time but you can check it on their website and look up what the lights were representing if wp_postmetare ever wondering!
