Last December, Toronto residents <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thestar.com\/news\/insight\/article\/1096071--book-lovers-alert-this-teeny-library-will-be-open-24-7\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Wrigley and Carolyn Swadron<\/a>, established the city\u2019s first Little Free Library on their front lawn in the Beach neighborhood and the libraries have spread across the Beach and Annex neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120718LFL304LeeAve.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120718LFL304LeeAve.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1299\" title=\"Toronto little free library\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120718LFL304LeeAve.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120718LFL304LeeAve.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/20120718LFL304LeeAve-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They offer communities access to free books 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no membership required and no late fees.
