\"Market<\/a><\/p>\n

We’ve been making regular visits to Market Wharf <\/a>for the past couple of months, but this time it’s different — It’s personal. Wait, you’re saying this isn’t a movie trailer? Oh, okay we’ll tone it down a bit.<\/p>\n

Anyway, we’re really excited to show you how much we’ve done to get everything ready for occupancy in the new year. Heck, we’ve even removed the giant crane a few weeks ago! That’s big, as in “we’ll be done soon” big. \u00a0Exciting stuff right?<\/p>\n

Anyway, come with us on a fantastical journey through Market Wharf as it’s going through it’s final phases of construction:<\/p>\n

Here we are at the top! Currently, crews are finishing installing windows on what will become the penthouse suites.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We mentioned it above, but it bears repeating: The crane is down! Yes, a few weeks ago we disassembled the crane and pulled it down off of the roof. This is great news because not only does it signal that the building is almost ready for occupancy, but we no longer have a giant metal eyesore on top of our building!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Caught a quick glance at our not too distant neighbour’s reflection in the window<\/p>\n

\"Market<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While not entirely sure why this is a thing, we thought it looked really cool so we took a picture of it. Our guess is to protect the shine of the metal while the door gets painted.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is giving us equal parts vertigo and dizziness. Gravol please!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Most hallways are now drywalled and have had their lighting installed. The next step is flooring.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In-unit air conditioners wait to be installed. Have they tried…I don’t know, knocking maybe?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And here we have the parking garage! Freshly paved, painted and ready to accept your vehicle!<\/p>\n

We can’t wait to hear the squeal of your tires as you pull into your spot!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

More of our balconies are going up! One of the last pieces of actual construction equipment– the lift, is still on the side of the building until all of the supplies can be delivered to finish the rest of the construction. Once the internal elevators start going, the workers will be less reliant on the lifts and we can take that bad boy off the side of the building!<\/p>\n

Hello lobby! The curved wall \u00a0at the elevator bank is a fantastic take on the building’s “wavy” motif.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here’s a worker plastering away at the ceiling. You wouldn’t catch us all the way up there!<\/p>\n

And one last look before we go! We’ll stop in Market\u00a0Wharf’s<\/a> progress next year (we love saying that this time of year)<\/p>\n
