So we headed on down to the neighbourhood to check out the latest things the market has to offer!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9950.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1906\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9950.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"795\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It really was one of those days where nothing in existence could ever look good outside and yet, there&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/category\/in-context\/market-wharf\/\">Market Wharf<\/a> looking as fantastic as always.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9951.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1907\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9951.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Looks more like the corner of deliciousness and awesomeness if you ask for our opinion.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9952.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1908\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9952.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>there&#8217;s always delicious sugary treats at the market, with a wide array of sweets at Futures bakery.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9953.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1909\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9953.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>St. Lawrence Market is filled \u00a0with delicious fruits and vegetables imported from around the world. As the catchy jingle may suggest that good things in fact, grow in Ontario&#8211; these are pretty great alternatives in the cold, dreary haze of winter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9953.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9954.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1910\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9954.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some things are pretty hard to ignore. No really, tell us which one you want, the shopkeeps aren&#8217;t mind readers. Haha, get it? \u00a0We \u00a0really need to stop watching detective cop shows.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9959.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1914\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 9\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9959.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re a sucker for a great pair of legs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9960.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1915\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 10\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9960.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We can honestly say, this is probably the first instance in which we&#8217;ve been this close to a kangaroo, camel\u00a0or an aligator outside of the Toronto Zoo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9961.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1916\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 11\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9961.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9961.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9964.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1917\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 12\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9964.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the end, we ended up picking up a few Canadian staples such as peameal\u00a0bacon and cheese\u00a0curds from Montreal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9966.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1918\" title=\"St. Lawrence Market 13\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/IMG_9966.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Finally, we had to make a stop at Buster&#8217;s Sea Cove for a delicious fresh, tuna melt.
