There&#8217;s been amazing progress on the amenities centre of Library District and we just couldn&#8217;t wait to show you. Here&#8217;s the amenities centre in it&#8217;s current incarnation<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2319\" title=\"Library District Amenities 1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So first things first, a friendly little &#8221; what up&#8221; to our neighbours, The City of Toronto&#8217;s 100th Public library. \u00a0We have to admit, it&#8217;s coming along quite nicely, don&#8217;t you think?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2321\" title=\"Library District Amenities 3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2322\" title=\"Library District Amenities 4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you come inside, you&#8217;ll notice that drywalling has begun on the main floor. Which is super cool.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2323\" title=\"Library District Amenities 5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Walking in a litte bit further you can see that the second and third floors are open concept, with a bit of a balcony looking overtop of the second floor landing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2324\" title=\"Library District Amenities 6\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Framing is in place for the changerooms.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-7.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2325\" title=\"Library District Amenities 7\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a great view to the north of bathurst, if you look really closely you can almost see the Diner and oh man, let&#8217;s go for all-day breakfast right now? Wait what? We&#8217;re standing in a future gym. Okay, we&#8217;ll shelve that discussion until later.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-8.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2326\" title=\"Library District Amenities 8\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"795\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is what we like to refer to as an &#8220;elevator&#8221;. It takes people up and down floors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-9.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2327\" title=\"Library District Amenities 9\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Library-District-Amenities-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"795\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Scaffolding is up to show how tall the centre will be. We&#8217;ll have more in a month or so.
