Well, it looks like the exterior of Library district is all wrapped up with a pretty little bow, while the interior is a great mystery for everyone but a few. Luckily, we knew just what you wanted and here it is! A Library District construction update! Hope it fits, because we forgot to get a gift receipt.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3483.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2742\" title=\"DSC_3483\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3483.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"795\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here it is! \u00a0The building is now fully closed off, with the exception of the construction elevator, which we&#8217;ll get out of the way once the actual elevators are installed in the new year.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3484.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2743\" title=\"DSC_3484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3484.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Wow, that&#8217;s high up. Also note that all of the balconies are fully installed too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3490.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2746\" title=\"DSC_3490\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3490.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Up until this point, this construction update has been a little, well, grey. Not to worry, because we have an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek of the new Sales centre going in on the main floor of Library Disctrict. Look at all of that orange. wow. Much colour, so bright, very paint.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3495.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2747\" title=\"DSC_3495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3495.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyway, on to the units, \u00a0the first 10 floors are now sealed off for cleaning and finishing. We managed to get a peek in a few units before they were all closed off before cleaning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3496.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2748\" title=\"DSC_3496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3496.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once it&#8217;s been cleaned, the units are closed off and ready for PDO.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3500.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2749\" title=\"DSC_3500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3500.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3502.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2750\" title=\"DSC_3502\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3502.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Naturally, the upper floors are still undergoing various states of construction at the moment. So instead of boring you pictures of concrete, framing, \u00a0cabinets etc. We&#8217;ll give you want you want to see &#8211; gorgeous views from the units on the higher floors!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3504.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2751\" title=\"DSC_3504\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3504.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Looking out to the east, through Cityplace and onto the Rogers Centre and CN Tower. It&#8217;s too bad we can&#8217;t see Ripley&#8217;s!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3505.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2752\" title=\"DSC_3505\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3505.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Just to the northeast is where all of the cool kids hang out.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3506.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2753\" title=\"DSC_3506\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3506.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The inner harbour looks almost frozen, if only we could go out and skate on it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3507.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2754\" title=\"DSC_3507\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/DSC_3507.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"795\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What? How did this get in here? Well anyway, here&#8217;s some cabinets from the 24th floor. It was such a clear day you could see all of the way into Mississauga. That&#8217;s all for this update.
