We\u2019ve watched all the flicks, judged all the actors but really wasn\u2019t the best action here in Toronto last year? Let\u2019s take a look:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Best role of a leading jellyfish:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This was a tough one as there were many leading candidates and shifting landscapes, what with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/2013\/10\/25\/context-goes-learning-ripleys-aquarium\/\">water changing colours and all<\/a>. Ultimately what it came down to was which one we liked best. It\u2019s our award show and we\u2019ll vote if we want to. \u00a0We\u2019re proud to award this to &#8230;\u00a0Frank (or Janice, we can\u2019t remember) at Ripley\u2019s Aquarium!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/stevesphoto\/3031740155\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2876\" title=\"3031740155_0d89965618_o\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/3031740155_0d89965618_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"355\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best use of space:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Make no mistake that the skyline of Toronto is rapidly changing. We now have fully finished buildings in spaces once used to house parking lots and other not fun stuff. \u00a0That being said it\u2019s our pleasure to announce that the winner of the best use of space is &#8230; Commander Chris Hadfield? Man what can\u2019t that guy do. Oh, you meant SPAAAACE space. Our bad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/stevesphoto\/3031740155\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2877\" title=\"Chris_Hadfield_2011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Chris_Hadfield_2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"663\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Best young-looking old guy:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have to admit, Toronto has bred a ton of people who just seem impervious to age. Just look at Margaret Atwood. doesn\u2019t look a day over 80. This time, Jian Ghomeshi takes the cake. Can you believe he\u2019s almost 50? that\u2019s just straight up nonsense. I hope we look that good when we turn 30 let alone almost 50. While the flood really brought it in terms of people being stuck in a flooding Don River with snakes, being out of power at Christmas is just stone cold \u00a0(no pun intended!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/dyniss\/11502270694\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2879\" title=\"11502270694_cf0d514f9b_o\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/11502270694_cf0d514f9b_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Meals on Wheels award:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>What? We really like food trucks. Who would have thought that a 24 hour food joint in a remote part of town just needed a jolly, inebriated white man with a poor Jamaican accent to grow the business. So on that note, we\u2019re going to give this one to the Jon Bon Jovi banner in the ACC.
