It should come as no surprise that we&#8217;re big fans of Nuit Blanche then! If you&#8217;ve been living under a rock for the past few years then we&#8217;ll quickly fill you in on what one of Toronto&#8217;s biggest fall events is.<!--more-->It started in 2006 as an all-night exploration and celebration of art in the city. It goes from dusk to dawn and brings out literally hundreds of thousands of people. Besides being an all-night art festival, it&#8217;s also just a major Toronto party. Many restaurants and bars stay open all night so that Toronto becomes the city that never sleeps, for reals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/5\/51\/Nuit_blanche_toronto_city_hall_2009.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3295\" title=\"Nuit_blanche_toronto_city_hall_2009\" src=\"https:\/\/www.context.ca\/blog\/wordpress-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Nuit_blanche_toronto_city_hall_2009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what you can look forward to for Nuit Blanche this Saturday:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; More than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scotiabanknuitblanche.ca\/2014-event\/event-map.html\">125 contemporary art projects<\/a> from St. Clair West to Fort York Boulevard, and from Roncesvalles to Regent Park.<br \/>\n&#8211; 4 really cool, specially curated exhibitions including Before Day Break and The Night Circus at Fort York Bouelvard.<br \/>\n&#8211; 80 independent projects by Toronto&#8217;s own art community.<br \/>\n&#8211; Themed contemporary art lectures.<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogto.com\/eat_drink\/2014\/10\/late_night_eats_nuit_blanche_2014\/\">Late night eats<\/a> from Tiny Tom Donuts, Busters Sea Cove, Steel Cut Coffee, Gourmet Gringos, Smoke&#8217;s Poutinerie and others.<br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogto.com\/eat_drink\/2014\/10\/20_bars_with_4am_last_call_on_nuit_blanche_2014\/\">Late night drinks<\/a> with a 4 AM last call from The Drake Hotel, The Beverley, Rock Lobster and others.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scotiabanknuitblanche.ca\/plan-ahead\/getting-around.html\">TTC<\/a> has a Special Event TTC Pass for Nuit Blanche which is valid from Saturday, October 4th until 9 AM on Sunday, October 5th and it&#8217;s only $11.00.
