Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! If you’re running low on plans for the weekend, we’ve got a couple ideas for you. We’re guessing that you didn’t score tickets to the All-Star game. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of other options. We’ve got some ideas on what you can do in Toronto to make it an amazing one.

Do Something Cheesy
We’re literally talking about cheese here. Book a private wine and cheese tasting with Leslieville Cheese. Your palate will thank you.

Pick Up Sweet Treats
Whether you’re planning to cook a fancy dinner at home or are going out, it never hurts to pick up some sweet treats. Bake Shoppe has some great options – get in your order ahead of time to make sure you get what you want.

Dine Out
Ah, the old standby. If you’re someone where Valentine’s Day calls for a dinner out, you’ll definitely want to plan ahead. Also do some research ahead of time! Many places have put together a special menu just for Valentine’s Day. You can peek The Drake Hotel’s prix fixe Valentine’s menu here.

Make it a Games Night
You can already guarantee that the movie theatre is going to be packed, so why not make it dinner and games night? There are a few great board game cafes out in the city and the number of them is always growing. Check out Castle Board Games or the ol’ standby Snakes and Lattes.

Axe Throwing
If you want something a little more unconventional, hit up Batl for some axe throwing. It’s all the rage right now and it’s guaranteed to be fun for both of you. Perfect for a double date!
