Checking out Library District in September

13 September 2013,   By ,

Get it? Check out? Libraries … eh? Eh? Fine, puns aren’t your thing, we get it. But we thought it was clever. Anyway, we went and got an update from the Library District site and there’s some great news — after the jump, of course!

First off we’d just like to formally announce that the building is completely closed off! All of the windows, doors and everything are in.

That’s right sports fans, we’re also onto finishing the second floor units!  We’ll go up from here but the first 9 floors are almost ready for finishing.

Most units are in this phase right now, as they have just been coated with fresh paint and are currently awaiting flooring. I mean, unless exposed concrete is your thing, which we severely doubt it is.

Libary District features a ton of cool unit sizes and shapes, including this end unit.

These are one of the west facing units, this one in particular is a 2 bedroom, with the bedrooms on the right.

Bless this mess, as construction sites tend to be a little messy, but if we were waking up to this view every day…just saying a person couldn’t really complain…

Here’s the living area of one of our studio units, the windows really open up the place, no?

Did we mention that we even have crews installing the elevators right now? Elevator work started a few weeks ago, so no more peeking down into the dark abyss of the parking garage.

Dear future condo owner with excellent taste in finishes – you have excellent taste in design upgrades.

Library District is connected to the City of Toronto’s 100th public library, and is steps away from the national historic site of Fort York.
