We're nominated for a Pug Award!

07 May 2014,   By ,

We like being nominated for things and were really happy when we were nominated for the much-acclaimed Pug Awards, which celebrates the best in Toronto architecture and planning. Founded in 2004, the Pug Awards invite the regular folk of Toronto to vote on the best, the middling and the worst of Toronto’s new real estate developments.

To qualify for a Pug Award, the building must have been completed last year in 2013, be located in the city of Toronto, and have an area equal to or greater than 50,000 square feet.

We’d totally love your support and vote – positive vote only please, none of that ‘LIKE IT or ‘HATE IT’ stuff.

Siiigh – you need more convincing as to why you should vote for us? What, our good looks and charm didn’t do it for you?

How about the fact that Context was up for the Best Condo Developer in Toronto because of Market Wharf?

Maybe it’s because the Market Wharf penthouses are bombdotcom. They’re big, they’re decorated with pure class, and they have fancy kitchens and walk-in closets?

Oooh, Market Wharf also boasts awesome amenities including a gym that you will actually want to work out in.

Humblebrag time: Christopher Hume of The Toronto Star also gave us a glowing report card (look ma, we got an ‘A’!) because of our “tall glass tower [that] has already become a landmark on the Toronto skyline. Its angled balconies give it a nautical theme, as if the balconies were moving back and forth like waves.” Oh and Market Wharf also has a “neighbourhood feel and scale; it belongs.” Okay so we can totally copy and paste the entire article, but read it for yourself here.

We also have this sweet public art piece in the passage that runs within Market Wharf from Market Street to Jarvis Street, because, well, we care about the pedestrians.

If that’s not enough to persuade you, then check out out the Market Wharf category on our blog. When you’re done, voting is as easy as 1-2-3.

Thanks in advance, friends!
