At Context, we’re passionate about all things Toronto, and that includes the amazing organizations that work every day to make our city even better. If you’re looking for a way to give back in the city this year, and make a difference in the city we call home, these 4 charities might be right up your alley:

Foodies, listen up! Winterlicious is back it all its glory and we’re here to help you make your game plan. Buying books can either be a great success or a total miss so you can play it safe with these picks – no need to worry about what their favourite genres are or if they’ve already read the book or not!

You can see it from all over the city and from as far away as Niagara Falls on a clear enough day. The CN Tower has made quite the mark on the Toronto skyline and wp_postmetas certainly one of the most iconic buildings in the city as well as a symbol for Toronto itself. wp_postmetave undoubtedly noticed the colours of it at night, but how much do you really know about the CN Tower lighting?

At this point, the leaves are mostly off the trees and cool weather is here for the foreseeable future. While it’s a bit of a bummer to say goodbye to another gorgeous Toronto summer, the promise of these upcoming excuses to get out and enjoy the city are getting us through. We love Toronto, so being part of building the next chapter of our amazing city is an honour we don’t take lightly. In the grand scheme, we’re a young city, so Toronto is still finding the aesthetic that defines us, and the best way to serve our citizens. It’s official: summer’s over, and winter’s on its way – but in the middle lies fall, one of our favourite seasons to spend here in Toronto. Parks and green spaces are an integral part of the pulse of Toronto. Offering refuge from the hot summer sun, sticky sidewalks and maybe your shoes, the city’s myriad of green spaces are one of the best things about Toronto. Whether you’re a Trinity Bellwoods people-watcher, a High Park family-type or slowing down for a day in the Beaches, there are tons of great park activities you should scratch off your list if you haven’t already.
