It’s always bittersweet to announce when a project is completely sold out, but here we are once again … Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Library District is SOLD OUT!

Okay, now that you’ve recovered from Canada Day festivities, it’s time to start planning beach dates and weekends at the cottage! Can you guess what the common denominator is for all summer excursions? If you guessed beer, you’re probably right, but we’re thinking books and plenty of ’em! And with the newly opened Fort York Library right next door to Library District, you have no excuse to not read more this summer!

Take a gander at our summer reading list so far.

Are you busy on May 24th or 25th? If yes, cancel your plans – we’ve got the perfect event for you to go to: Doors Open Toronto! One of our favourite events of the year is back, and with about 40 new buildings, including University of Toronto’s Knox College, and the Cornell Campbell House.

There are people who totally love furniture shopping and relish in spending hours and hours scouring the city in search of the perfect Ottoman. Then there’s people who couldn’t give a care in the world for spending endless amounts of time furniture shopping but want their place to look pretty swanky.

This post is for the latter.

Well, you COULD go sail the seven seas in hopes of finding trunks and whatever else people tend to find when they go adventuring or you can go up the street, find great furniture and still have time for a poutine from Lou Dawgs.

Yeah, we’re talking about CB2, on King and Bathurst. Here’s what we found at CB2 that would go great in any Library District condo.

Hey Folks, we’re in a bit of a hurry today – darn long weekends. Anyway we thought we’d show you the newest model suite at Library District. It’s on the 10th floor, is 777 SQ. feet and hails from parts unknown, er Toronto.

Listen up folks, we’re going to let you in on a little secret. If you think condos are typically small and meant for couples or the bachelor life, you’re wrong. No, we’re not referring to that bachelor, you know, the one with the hot tubs and desperate women (although, whatever floats your boat buddy). We’re talking about the kind of bachelor that can’t remember the last time they did laundry and kind of wanders around their apartment in a haze because they have an intense desire for human contact but are too shy to talk to the pretty girl (or guy) a couple floors down when they see them in the elevator. You’re familiar, right?

We almost froze to death but decided that for you, our lovely readers, we’d brave the cold to go check up on Scott at the Library District Sales Centre.

So, we thought we’d give you an update as to how the amenities complex is coming along.

It’s a big green space with awesome elements, and located next to the Library District condos and the city’s 100th public library.
