Get it? Check out? Libraries … eh? Eh? Fine, puns aren’t your thing, we get it. But we thought it was clever. Anyway, we went and got an update from the Library District site and there’s some great news — after the jump, of course!

We know we gave you a real treat with pictures of one of Market Wharf’s Water Suites last week, but guess what?

What’s that? No, we aren’t going to petition to bring back the cronut burger sans weird maple bacon jelly.

We have another suite to show off!

Earlier today we got really excited when the prospect came up of heading to the CNE on opening day to sample the finest dishes the food pavilion has to offer. After all, the best day is the first one, right?

I guess this means we have to take our tuxedo to the tailors because guess what?!

Drumroll please …

Okay, we have a slight surprise for you so try to contain your excitement. There’s been amazing progress on the amenities centre of Library District and we just couldn’t wait to show you. Here’s the amenities centre in it’s current incarnation

Ah July, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, Library District is rising, couldn’t ask for a better time. We’ve come a long way in a year and we can’t wait to show you what’s going on! But first, a look back to a year ago.

We had a bit of a case of the midweek blahs, then we had an earth-shattering idea — Cupcakes.  We thought cupcakes would cheer us up, and so we went to Market Street with hopes to devour some of the sweet sweet nectar of the chocolate gods and to share with you our adventure. We’re so lucky that St. Lawrence Market is just a hop, jump and a skip away from Market Wharf!

Here are some lovely pictures of our morning in the world’s best food market (as awarded by National Geographic).

Last Wednesday, we partied.  We wanted to celebrate the move-in at Market Wharf and make use of our fresh new Amenities Centre – that’s a good reason to party, right?!

Well well well, isn’t this wuite the treat, Looks like we have another Market Wharf  model suite on display for all to see, isn’t this exciting!

It can be said that with the exception of the Molson Amphitheatre, Toronto is really lacking in the space necessary to hold a top-notch summer music festival downtown. And before you start, no, Downsview park doesn’t count.

But then our good friends and usually quiet neighbours over at Fort York went and let a bunch of musical hooligans into their yard for some good old fashioned fun. Which has us all excited about these amazing shows lined up this summer.
